Octoraro Lodge 22 has scheduled a very special workday for Saturday December 10th from 9 am to 3 pm at the Council Service Center so that we can work on Lodge Records migration. This workday will help us with Phase 3 of the project – to take scanned PDFs of inactive members’ records and transfer them to a spreadsheet for importing into our records’ database, Lodgemaster.
For those that are able to come, we ask those who are bringing laptops to ensure that Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat Reader (or regular Adobe Acrobat) are installed on their laptops. Most PC laptops will have these installed already. The laptop will also need to have a working USB port. We are asking those who have more than 1 laptop to bring them in case others cannot bring a laptop.
Lunch will also be provided to those assisting with the records migration.
This will be a HUGE help for our records keeping. We will eventually be able to house all our records in 1 place – our database – rather than several places at present.
If you are able to help, please register at the link below. It is critical that you register if coming so we can prepare resources for the project accordingly.

Any questions about the workday or the overall project should be directed to Andrew Coe or Leslie John.
Sincerely,
Octoraro 22 Lodge Executive Committee
