When can I take my Ordeal?
September Fellowship Weekend (last weekend in September unless otherwise noted, see calendar page)
April Service Weekend (last weekend in April unless otherwise noted, see calendar page)
June Service Weekend (first weekend in June unless otherwise noted, see calendar page)
Where is the Ordeal?
The Ordeal weekends take place at Camp Horseshoe located at the Horseshoe Scout Reservation. Upon arrival, candidates should go directly to the Kindness Center.
What should I pack?
Included in your Ordeal packet is a list of required and suggested items for you to bring with you. Make sure you closely follow this guideline as it is required.
What if I can’t make my selected Ordeal?
You will need to contact the Lodge as soon as possible and we will try to reschedule the date.
How long do I have to complete my Ordeal?
You have one year from your election date. If you cannot make any of our three weekends, you will need written permission from the Lodge Chief or Lodge Advisor granting you an extension.
I took my Ordeal in September, do I already owe dues?
No, your dues are paid through September of the next year. This is true for all candidates. Once you take your ordeal, your dues are paid through September of the next year.
